Exciting Leadership Transition at MMF!

On December 30, 2023, Rose Martinez handed over the leadership of Mercy Ministries Foundation’s Christian Happy Homes in Thailand and Cambodia to Manhka “MK” Moonjeerang. We welcome MK as the new Director of Mercy Ministries Foundation (MMF).

After 43 years of joyfully serving the Lord at Christian Happy Homes under Mercy Ministries Foundation, the Founder, Rose Martinez, is passing the baton. Enjoy this video of her story and meet some of the staff she is trusting to lead MMF for the next generation.

Meet Our Staff.

Rose Martinez: MMF Founder

As a young woman, Rose was already on a path to follow and obey God. Her first ministry calling was to disciple girls while living at Shiloh House in Orange County, CA. Her next leap of faith was to study God’s word at at Horizon School of Evangelism which launched her to Thailand. So, in 1981, a 23 year old, Rose Martinez headed from Southern California to Thailand with a call from God to serve Him. Through a burden to care for the orphans of Thailand, Christian Happy Homes were established starting in Northern Thailand. Through the wisdom and kindness of God, there are now five homes and a school throughout Thailand and Cambodia. In 1998, Mercy Ministries Foundation (MMF) was formed to encompass the Christian Happy Homes and other ministries under one umbrella. The Lord continued to bless the work with the children, and Rose has been able to pour in to the lives of over 500 kids since God called her to serve Him.
