Help wanted
Our building project is moving along slowly but surely with just our staff doing all the work themselves in their spare time. We are hoping and praying for helping (skilled) hands to see our office and staff/volunteer housing completed soon. Thank you again for all your love and care for us here.

Um has a sponsor
Last month you might recall that we were on the search for a sponsor for one of our new children at Baan Santisuk, Um (11). But when one of our volunteers, Nelly Dijkman from Australia, found out about the need she contacted her parents in Melbourne and they agreed to take Um on as sponsor parents. Sponsorships are always a good thing for our kids but even better when there is a deep connection with their sponsors.

Celebrating Thai style
Lot's of celebrating went on this past month and, in Thailand, celebrating always means lots of eating. Of course there are plenty of other activities but they seem to be interspersed between eating times.

Christmas is a time for giving
Some of our visitors brought special gifts for our kids, not to enjoy themselves but to give away to others. So on Christmas day we visited a village for Burmese migrant workers and the Baan Santisuk kids learned that Christmas is truly a time for giving.

Happy New Year from Baan Santisuk
We at Baan Santisuk would like to thank everyone who helped make these holidays such a joyous time for all of us here. The kids were blessed with many gifts and the many visitors that came to play with them made these days very special indeed. God bless you for your thoughtfulness.
